Eight of our designers attended this spring’s First Round conference, which featured creative teams from New York City presenting first-round design explorations of previous projects. Insights were shared on how best to present work for the most effective results. Stand-out client presentations incorporated sound strategies that helped to set the stage for the rest of the creative development to unfold.

A common refrain among presenters was the importance of having all decision makers in the room for the initial presentation, to avoid diluting the context when concepts are passed along to others. We were reminded that there are many ways to approach a project, and that having a flexible work style is the best way to adapt to each client's individual needs, timing, and budget.
