When Starwood brought the W Hotel brand to Austin, Texas, they needed to create branding for their flagship restaurant that would be as unique as Austin’s eclectic vibe and independent personality. W’s vision was an all-new approach to farm-to-table dining, using only the finest ingredients from local growers across Central Texas.
SARANKCO named the new restaurant “TRACE” to boldly reflect the intent of the restaurant to transparently source ingredients and décor locally. Appealing to guests who appreciate knowing where their food has come from, and that they’re supporting the local economy, TRACE has expanded to four locations across the country, proving that local business is good business.
