Pride Party

Date

2019 marked the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, and we thought it was something worth celebrating.

We invited some clients and friends to the studio to kick off Pride weekend with us and treated them to some cocktails — along with every delicious rainbow-colored dessert imaginable. But we wanted our community to come away from this event with more than just a sugar rush.

As a certified member of the NGLCC (National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce), SARANKCO is committed to supporting the LGBT community, not only for Pride month but in a meaningful way throughout the year.

We put our design skills to use and created tees and posters inspired by our diverse, inclusive community, putting our own twist on the rainbow by using Pantone’s current and past colors of the year. Then we gave these to our guests for a suggested donation to the Trevor Project, to help support the important work they do providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBT youth. With Steven matching the donations, the total came to [$1,000].

We love being able to give back to the community, and it was a joy to share our space with friends and family on this occasion.
